Taylor Mackin, LCSW

Office Location: Atlanta

I view therapy as an essential tool to help prioritize, care for, and learn about ourselves.

I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families facing a range of challenges including anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, identity development, life transitions, grief/loss, family conflict, and chronic illness. My primary goal as a clinician is to create a space that facilitates free expression, highlights your natural abilities, and strengthens self-awareness and self-compassion. In doing this, I will work alongside you to explore and expand upon beliefs and stories that no longer feel supportive, so that you can connect more deeply with your inherent strengths and capabilities. We will work together to revisit past experiences in a way that feels safe for you in order to draw meaningful parallels to present circumstances and challenges.

I value diversity and the integration of social justice into my work with clients and believe that your unique experiences are shaped in complex ways and should be viewed in light of social and cultural influences. Most importantly, I am committed to ensuring that you feel safe, well-supported, and valued during our work together and welcome feedback throughout the therapeutic process.

I encourage you to contact me with any questions and look forward to connecting with you.
