I want you to feel like your most authentic self without judgment, as I believe everyone is doing the best they can with the tools they have.

It’s not always easy to be vulnerable or trust someone new, so it’s my main priority to make the space as safe and healing as possible. I will provide empathy, warmth, and non-judgmental support, so that we can build a trusting, nurturing relationship. It is my belief that therapy should be a collaborative effort between therapist and client, and I value making you feel heard and understood in hopes that you can show up authentically.

Together, we will work as a team to help you reach your goals and grow into a flourishing version of yourself. If you struggle with eating disorders, addiction, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and self-worth issues, I would love to be there for you. Previously, I have worked in an addiction treatment center and eating disorder hospital, where I have provided individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. I currently offer individual therapy to people ages 10 and up, providing counseling from the orientations of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. In using multiple approaches, I can meet various needs, while looking at the person holistically.

I am working under the supervision of Meg McLeroy, LMFT, and the clinical direction of Dr. Amy Smith-Barnes, PsyD.
