You deserve care that respects your individuality and empowers your growth.
My therapeutic approach is guided by the belief that healing begins with self-understanding and compassionate connection. Life brings a range of challenges that can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and others. I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where we can explore those challenges together.
I enjoy working with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, binge eating, life transitions, and experiences related to gender and sexual identity. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs and goals. Together, we’ll draw from an eclectic mix of modalities—including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Expressive Arts, and parts work—to build self-awareness, increase tolerance for discomfort, and cultivate self-compassion for your most authentic self.
I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia with a specialization in micro practice. My professional background includes community mental health, where I supported adults living with severe and persistent mental illness and substance use disorders. I helped clients build coping skills, engage in whole-person health, and consider how systemic stigma shapes identity and relationships. In private practice settings, I’ve provided trauma-informed individual and group therapy to clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
My work is grounded in holistic, social justice, and feminist frameworks that recognize the impact of power, oppression, and systems on mental health and identity. I strive to create an affirming space for all clients, especially those who have felt unseen or misunderstood in other therapeutic environments. I am currently under the clinical supervision of Meg McLeroy, LMFT, and the clinical director of Amy Smith-Barnes, PsyD.
Every person deserves to feel safe, seen, and empowered in their healing. I’d be honored to walk with you on your journey toward greater authenticity and well-being.
