Counseling services for adult individuals and couples
Hi, I’m Allie. Carrying grief, stress, and self-doubt can be exhausting. Therapy can be a place to start easing some of that weight. I’m committed to creating a safe and compassionate space where you feel supported. I work with adult individuals experiencing a broad range of concerns, including grief and loss, mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder, relational challenges, anxiety, posttraumatic stress, and life transitions. I also provide counseling services for couples facing challenges related to grief and loss, feelings of disconnection, communication concerns, and life transitions.
My approach is person-centered and trauma informed. I draw from cognitive behavioral, family systems, and psychodynamic therapies. I work relationally and collaboratively, with attention to self-compassion and creating space to process what is coming up for you. Whether it’s having a space to feel heard and process emotions, learn new coping skills to help manage symptoms, or develop a more compassionate inner voice, we can come up with a plan that best supports your well-being.
I’m an Associate Professional Counselor (APC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) in the State of Georgia. I hold Master of Education (MEd) and Education Specialist (EdS) degrees in Counselor Education, with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, from Clemson University. I have been providing counseling services for five years, with post-graduate positions in outpatient psychiatry, hospitals, and private practice.
I see adult individuals and couples under the clinical supervision of Margo Rice, PhD, LPC, NCC, ACP, and the clinical direction of Meg McLeroy, LMFT.
