Lisa Glass, MA, MEd, NCC
My commitment is to help guide my clients toward authenticity so that they can become their best selves and help them discover the strategies and skills that can bring about joy and happiness in their lives. I work with children, adolescents, and adults in individual and group settings who are struggling with eating disorders (including anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder), body image, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder, social skills, and ADD/ADHD; I am also an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and encourage everyone to live as joyfully and authentically as possible.
I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and hold Master’s degrees in both Humanistic Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling; I am currently under the supervision of Dr. Amy Smith-Barnes. My theoretical orientation is integrative, meaning I rely upon aspects from several different perspectives, including Person-Centered, DBT, Feminist, Adlerian, and Solution-Focused. I also consider my approach to be goal-oriented and collaborative. My true passions lie within art and play therapy. I enjoy incorporating both of these into individual and group counseling sessions and provide support and guidance to clients that help empower them to live their best lives.
