Psychology Today Profile

Welcome to Therapy for Atlanta! Everyone can benefit from therapy in some way, yet reaching out for help can be difficult. I understand this challenge and commend you on taking the first steps towards leading the life you desire. As a systemic therapist, I believe the relationships that we are apart of, and the experiences that we have, influence our beliefs about ourselves and the world around us. Therefore, I enjoy helping clients explore the various systems they are connected to as they continue to learn about themselves.

I have a collaborative and client-centered therapeutic approach, and I believe each client has the strength and resolve to create the meaningful change they hope to see in their lives. I am dedicated to helping individuals see the good in themselves. I understand that life can be tough and overwhelming, and it is my goal to help clients develop the tools they need in order to feel confident navigating life’s difficult moments.  I am committed to helping my clients identify and achieve their therapeutic goals, while providing a safe, judgment-free space where my clients feel supported and comfortable to express themselves.

I received my Master’s of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy and my Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology both from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.. During graduate school, I received extensive, hands-on clinical training in individual, couple, and family therapy.  I specialize in working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families as a whole. I have experience helping individuals who are struggling with mood disturbances such as anxiety and depression, as well as grief and loss. I will support those who hope to improve their self-esteem or heal from trauma and I am passionate about helping individuals recover from eating disorders.  I enjoy working with couples throughout the various stages of their relationship to resolve issues such as communication, lack of intimacy, and infidelity. I currently work under the supervision of Meg McLeroy, LMFT and the direction of Amy Smith-Barnes, PsyD at Midtown Psychotherapy Associates. Regardless of what brings you to therapy, it is a privilege to be apart of your journey.  New clients may use the button below to "REGISTER" and schedule on my secure portal:
